I bought this product for my husband for when he had cuts on his hands and it worked for him Low and behold, I got a cold sore on my lip and had this ointment on hand and it worked wonders. It took away the pain and stinging that comes with cold sores. It also cut down the time I had the cold sore. Highly recommend
